Arsenal travel to Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon and they will be looking to get over their disappointing midweek defeat at north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Roberto Martinez's Latics have managed just one win in their last six league games and now find themselves just five points clear of the drop-zone.
Central to their poor form has been the lack of a goal threat. Indeed, Martinez's side have netted just four goals in total in their last ten league games.
The omens do not look good for the home side against the Gunners either. Wigan have taken just one point from nine Premier League encounters with Arsenal, while the Latics have mustered just one goal in their last five league clashes with the Gunners.
Following their defeat at White Hart Lane in midweek, a result which all but killed off the Gunners' title aspirations, they will be eager to get back to winning ways and put that painful defeat behind them and they are the overwhelming online betting favourites to win the DW Stadium showdown.
However, they have kept only two clean sheets in their last 14 away matches and that lack of defensive steel will give Wigan hope of snatching some priceless points against the north London giants.
Portsmouth take on Aston Villa and, now that their relegation has been confirmed, they will have nothing to lose against Martin O'Neill's men at Fratton Park.
The Villans have drawn eight of their last 13 league fixtures and have managed just one win in five, but they have kept an impressive six clean sheets in their last nine away matches in the league.
Pompey's own recent form has also been poor, with the south coast side failing to score in each of their last four league games and enjoying just one win in seven.
The two sides have already met at Fratton Park this season, when the visitors won 4-2 in a Carling Cup quarter-final game back in December and Pompey's form in recent league clashes won't fill them with confidence either.
Indeed, the Solent side have failed to score in their last three Premier League games against Villa while they have enjoyed only two wins in six league encounters with the Villans at Fratton Park.
