Guus Hiddink will stay in touch with Chelsea in an official capacity despite ending his brief spell as manger with victory in the FA Cup Final.
The Dutch coach brought the curtain down on his four-month spell with Saturday's 2-1 victory over Everton at Wembley.
But Hiddink has accepted an offer to continue working on a consultancy basis as the new technical advisor at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Everton manager David Moyes conceded that pre-match footballing betting odds favourites Chelsea were deserved cup winners.
"We deserved to be in the final because the players performed ever so well throughout the season, but we found Chelsea a hurdle too much," admitted Moyes.
"They were the better team and used the conditions better than we did."
