Sussex have completed the signing of England left-arm spinner Monty Panesar on a three-year contract from Northamptonshire.
The 27-year-old is currently out of the reckoning with England and has lost his Central Contract, a move which meant that Northants were struggling to pay Panesar the going rate.
That left Sussex to step in to snap up a player who has taken 126 wickets in 39 Test matches for England.
