Murray through in Miami

Great Britain's Andy Murray eased through to the last 16 of the Miami Masters with a straight sets victory over Chile's Nicolas Massu.

Murray edged home 6-4, 6-4 against the former Olympic champion to set up a fourth round showdown with Serbia's Viktor Troicki, who saw off Bjorn Phau 6-4, 6-3.

World number one and online betting favourite Rafael Nadal powered into the last 16 by defeating Portugal's Frederico Gil 7-5, 6-3, while sixth seed Juan Martin del Potro had few problems in thrashing Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-1.

Twelfth seed Fernando Gonzalez was the highest-ranked player to taste defeat, going down 7-6, 6-4 to 18th seed Radek Stepanek.
