In cricket, England face a battle to save the fourth Test against West Indies after Ramnaresh Sarwan hit a superb 291.

Sarwan shared a sixth-wicket stand of 261 with Denesh Ramdin in Barbados as West Indies eventually declared after reaching 749-9, 149 runs ahead of England's first-innings total.

Australia are favourites to beat South Africa in the first Test despite being bowled out for 207 in their second innings. South Africa were 168-2 at the close of play.
