Wenger commits future to Gunners
Arsenal have announced that long-serving manager Arsene Wenger has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Emirates Stadium until the end of the 2013-14 season.
Wenger, who was appointed Gunners boss 14 years ago, is pleased that his long-term future is secure after signing a three-year extension to his current contract.
Brazil international midfielder Ramires has completed his £17million transfer from Benfica to Chelsea. The 23-year-old moves to Stamford Bridge on a four-year contract having received a work permit and passed a medical.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has snapped up Mario Balotelli from Inter Milan. The 20-year-old Italy international has penned a five-year contract with City and is believed to have cost in the region of £22million.
