Getting started (registration, forgot password)
3. How do I register an account on 888sport?
It only takes a minute. Just click on the Register Now button at the top of the homepage and fill in your details.
You will be asked to enter a valid credit / debit card for validation purposes. Rest assured, however, you do not need to deposit any money in order to register and no transactions will take place until you finally decide to place a bet with us.

4. I have forgotten my username or password, what should I do?
No worries. Just click on forgot username/password?, which appears right under the login field and we'll send your forgotten username or password to your email. If the problem persists, please contact Member Support at any time (see FAQ #1 above) and they’ll help sort everything out.
5. How do I close my 888sport account?
If you wish to close your account please contact Member Support (see FAQ #1 above).
6. My credit card has expired. Can I change the credit / debit card registered to my account?
Of course, but how you do it depends on the new card that was issued to you.
If the long number across the centre of your new card is the same (this is usually the case if you haven't changed over to a new bank or opened a new account), you can register the new card by simply logging in from the homepage, entering My Account and selecting the Update Details option.
If the number on the new card is different, please get in touch with Member Support (see FAQ #1 above) and they'll help you through the registration process.
7. Can I register more than one credit / debit card?
For security reasons you can only register one credit / debit card to your account, so consider carefully which card would be the best for you to use at 888sport.

Deposits
8. How do I make a deposit to my 888sport account?
Just log in from the homepage, enter My Account and select the Deposit option. You will be prompted to fill out the relevant deposit information. The whole process takes less than a minute.
If you want to make a deposit from inside the casino, just click on the Cashier button at the bottom left corner of the casino lobby and select Deposit.

Only registered members can make deposits and place bets. If you haven't registered an 888sport account, see FAQ #2 to find out how to do so.
9. What payment methods can I use to deposit?

10. I can't seem to make a deposit. What's wrong?
If your deposit is being declined, first double check the details on your card to see if they match the details registered on 888sport. Please pay especial attention to the last four digits of the card number, as well as the expiry date (and the date of issue, if your card has got one) to make sure everything matches.
If, nonetheless, the details on your card match the details registered on 888sport, just contact Member Support (see FAQ #1 above), so the whole thing will be sorted out as soon as possible. If your card is expired, see FAQ #5 above.
11. Why does my bankroll appear in US$ when I enter the casino?
Our internationally acclaimed Casino-on-Net boasts tens of millions of members from all over the globe. In order to maintain a high international standard of user-friendliness and accommodation, our casino software presents the US$ as a benchmark, due to its global recognition and wide appeal.
Because Casino-on-Net is technically figured in US$, your 888sport bankroll will be nominally converted into US$ inside the casino, regardless of the betting currency you selected when you registered. Likewise, your casino winnings will be credited to your bankroll in US$. The nominal conversion of your bankroll into US$ is done at the current rate of exchange with no additional surcharge.
It is important to remember that the exchange is purely technical. The real value of your 888sport bankroll remains for all intents and purposes in your chosen betting currency. This means that your casino winnings, despite being credited in US$, are cashed out (withdrawn) in your chosen betting currency, not in US$.
Withdrawals (Cashouts)
12. How do I withdraw (cash out) my winnings?
Just log in from the homepage, click on the My Account button and select the Withdraw option. You will be prompted to fill out the information relevant to your withdrawal request.
If you want to make a withdrawal (cashout) from the casino, just click on the Cashier button at the bottom left corner of the casino lobby and select Cashouts.
MasterCard holders, please note: withdrawals (cashouts) cannot be credited back to MasterCard (see FAQ #14).
13. What is the minimum / maximum withdrawal (cashout)?
Minimum limits differ according to the payment method being used to cash out with and the currency being withdrawn (cashed out).
Via wire transfer: US $20 , ₤10 , €14 , DKK 100 , or SEK 130.
Via credit / debit card, bank draft, Moneybookers, NETELLER, and UK credit cards via BACS: US $6 , ₤3 , €4 , DKK 30 , or SEK 40.
As for maximum limits, most payment methods do not apply one. However, in the case of Visa, the maximum limit per day is $50,000 , ₤25,000 , €34,000 , DKK 250,000 , or SEK 315,000.

14. I requested a withdrawal (cashout) a few days ago, so where's my money?
888sport processes all withdrawal (cashout) requests one business day from the date of request.
However, please note that different payment methods have different processing times beyond 888sport's processing time of one business day. Please visit our Banking page to view a full cashout processing timetable.
We want our members to receive their winnings as soon as possible and will do our utmost to keep the stipulated time frames (please see our Cashout Policy for further information). Please be aware however, that some cashout methods are completed via third parties and delays beyond our control may occur in rare cases.
If your cashout has not been posted within the specified time limit, please contact us immediately and we will investigate.
15. Why can't I withdraw (cash out) funds to my MasterCard?
Some international MasterCards no longer accept refunds. Where this is the case, you may use one of several other payment methods offered by 888sport. Please see our Banking page for a full list of available payment methods.
16. I deposited from my credit card and my statement lists the charge next to Intersafe Global, Ltd. Who is that?
Intersafe Global, Ltd. specializes in secure internet transaction processing and is the company that provides transaction services to 888sport. When you wish to make a deposit from your credit / debit card, for example, the charge is made by Intersafe Global Ltd. and appears on your credit card statement under one of the following names (depending on the payment method used):
Intersafe Global
IFund- IntersafeGlobal
Cassava/Intersafe.
Occasionally, along with the Intersafe Global name, you will see the name of a city. This is because Intersafe Global, Ltd. has several worldwide banking system gateways.

Betting
17. How do I place a bet?
Use the left-hand menu to select a sport or category. A list of relevant options will appear. Click on the desired option to view all the available betting events and markets in the main body of the page.
Click on Bet next to the selection you wish to back. A betslip will open up, where you can choose your bet type and stake.
Check your bet details carefully before clicking on Place Bet in the betslip - mistakes cannot be corrected after a bet has been placed. If the bet has been accepted you will receive a receipt number confirming your bet, which we advise you to save until your bet is settled.
18. How do I view any free bets I may have?
If you qualify for an 888sport promotion that includes a free bet, you will be credited in one of two ways.
Free Bet Token
Just login, click on My Account and select the Free Bets option. Any free bets you may have may be redeemed directly from the betslip as you place an appropriate bet.
Free Stakes
Free stakes appear as money added to your account balance, except they can only be used to pay for bets and cannot be withdrawn. Free stakes will be noted as an entry in your account history. To view them, just select the Account History option and click on All Transactions.
19. How do I redeem a free bet?
Just make a bet selection the way you ordinarily would (see FAQ #17 if you don't yet know how).
The option to redeem a free bet token on that bet will appear at the bottom of your betslip. A free bet token cannot be used to place pool bets or to play casino games.
Please note: Free bet stakes cannot be withdrawn from your account. Thus, if a free bet token is used to pay wholly or partially for a bet, its value will be deducted from any returns.
20. How do I place a multiple bet?
Start by making a bet selection the way you ordinarily would (see FAQ #17 if you don't yet know how). With your betslip still open (before clicking on Place Bet), add any further selections that make up your desired multiple bet.
As you add the remaining selections, a list displaying every available multiple with your chosen selections will appear on your betslip. Simply select the bet types you desire from the list provided.
Now enter the amount you wish to stake in the stake field and click on Place Bet.
21. What is the minimum amount I can bet?
The minimum total stake is £0.50 (or currency equivalent).
22. What is the maximum payout amount?
888sport puts a cap on the total amount that a member can win in a single day's betting. Maximums apply even when potential winnings exceed the cap, e.g. when stakes are high enough, or if prices are taken (bettor backs underdogs at long odds).
Payouts per member per day are capped at €347,545 (excluding stake) for most betting markets, unless stated otherwise in the 888sport betting rules published on the site.
23. How can I be sure if my bet has been placed?
After you place a bet, you will receive a message with full details of your bet with a receipt number. If you are ever left in doubt as to whether your bet has in fact been placed, check your Account History from the My Account page or contact Member Support (see FAQ #1).
24. What happens to my winnings?
All returns from winning bets are credited to your 888sport account balance and are yours to place further bets or withdraw (cash out) as you wish.
25. If I place a bet by mistake can this bet be voided?
Only if you have not yet confirmed it. You are given opportunity to do so for every bet you place. Unfortunately, once a bet has been confirmed it cannot be voided.
26. Why was my football bet settled as a loser?
All football bets apply to full 90 minute games only, including injury time, but excluding extra time / golden goal.
The same or similar is true of many betting markets. Please refer to the rules section for full details per sport.
27. How do I place an each-way bet?
After you make a selection, your betslip opens and you are prompted to enter a stake. The default bet is always a simple win bet. However, where an each-way option is available, next to the stake field there will be a small box labeled 'E/W'. Mark the box by clicking on it and you will see that your 1 bet (the default win bet) now indicates 2 bets.
Remember that you are actually staking twice as much as you enter in the stake field now, since an each-way bet is in fact made up of two equal bets (win and place).
28. How do I calculate each-way terms?
Each way terms are as follows:
No each-way available on races with 4 or less runners.
1/4 of the odds on the first 2 places for races with 5 to 7 runners.
1/5 of the odds on the first 3 places for non-handicap races of 8 or more runners.
1/5 of the odds on the first 3 places for handicap races with 8 to 11 runners.
1/4 of the odds on the first 3 places for handicap races with 12 to 15 runners.
1/4 of the odds on the first 4 places for handicap races with 16 or more runners.
Should there be less than 5 runners due to withdrawals the place part of any each-way bet will become a win bet.
29. My bet did not return the amount I was expecting, what happened?
You should probably check the result to see if there has been a rule 4 deduction or a dead-heat.
If you have taken a price (placed a straight bet on the underdog) and a horse is withdrawn before the market can be reformed, a deduction will be made to your winnings. This is known as a Tattersall's rule 4 and is standard across the betting industry.
If your selection is involved in a dead-heat, then the winnings are split between both selections.
Types of bets
30. What is a Trixie, Yankee, Double, Treble, Each-way, Accumulator etc.?
See below definitions for types of bets you can place at 888sport.

| Accumulator | A bet on four or more selections; all of which must win to gain a return. Accumulators are often named after the number of selections they contain, as in a fourfold, fivefold or sixfold accumulator, and so on. |

If the selection wins, both sides of the bet are settled as winners. If the selection places but does not win, the place side of the bet is settled at the price (odds) quoted at the moment the bet was placed. |
