Bernardo Silva Falcao

Monaco head 7/1 European four-fold

Bastia vs AS MONACO

Monaco are flying high at the top of Ligue 1 and the visitors will fancy their chances when they travel to lowly Bastia on Friday night. With the likes of Falcao and Bernardo Silva in fine form, the Ligue 1 leaders 75 goals in just 25 league games this season – more than anybody else in Europe’s top four divisions.

With six wins in their last seven Ligue 1 outings, Monaco will be very difficult to beat and I believe that 1/2 represents decent value considering the form book. The visitors have lost just once in 15 games against their opponents and Leonardo Jardim’s men will be looking to take full advantage of Bastia’s struggles once again.

The hosts have won just five games this season; with the last victory coming against Rennes back in December. All signs point towards a Monaco win and I’m backing the visitors to continue their fine form here...

TIP: Monaco to win @ 1/2

Sporting Gijon vs ATLETICO MADRID

Again, this one wasn’t a difficult choice. Atletico have picked up their form in recent weeks and Diego Simeone’s men will be buoyed by their come-from-behind success against Celta Vigo last week. With Antoine Griezmann, Fernando Torres, Yannick Carrasco and Kevin Gameiro in attack, Atletico’s offensive prowess could overpower their opponents.

The visitors put five past Gijon at the Vicente Calderon earlier this season and, while it might not be as convincing this time, I’m expecting the same outcome on Saturday: three points in Atletico’s favour. Simeone’s men haven’t lost a league game since early December and that is unlikely to change here.

Atletico aren’t the dominant force that they were last season but they are starting to show signs of superiority at the business end of the campaign. Back Simeone’s side to secure the three points in this one...

TIP: Atletico to win @ 12/25

Ingolstadt have won four of their last 10 Bundesliga games but the visitors still sit second bottom of the table after a poor start to the campaign. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt are currently third in the division and the hosts will be confident of maintaining their standing this weekend.

Only Bayern have conceded fewer goals than Eintracht so far this season and the hosts will be looking to record yet another clean sheet on Saturday. They have struggled to inspire confidence in attack at times this year but should have enough quality to put a few past an Ingolstadt defence that has kept just one clean sheet in nine league games.

On paper, this one looks like it should be a straightforward home win but Ingolstadt will be looking to bounce back after four defeats in five games. If Eintracht keep their composure, the hosts should be good enough to secure another three points.

TIP: Eintracht Frankfurt to win @ 53/50

Bologna vs INTER MILAN

Bologna have lost three on the spin and it is hard to back the hosts here. Napoli put seven past this defence just two weeks ago and Inter’s potent offensive unit could feast if they go for the jugular. Furthermore, their offensive struggles (23 goals in 24 league games) have been well documented and Inter’s defence might be in for a quiet 90 minutes.

Inter are THE form side in Serie A right now and it would be foolish to back against Stefano Poli’s men on current form. With eight wins in their last nine matches, the visitors are at the peak of their powers and punters should snap up the 15/19 on offer for Inter to extend their current run.

Away from home, Inter have struggled in recent years but they appear to have settled the ship this campaign. The visitors haven’t lost an away game to Bologna in almost 15 years so get backing Inter to continue that trend on Sunday.

TIP: Inter Milan to win @ 15/19
