Seattle Seahawks Top 8/1 NFL Accumulator

Over the Thanksgiving games yet? We’ve got a full slate of American football action for you this Sunday and I’ll be looking to select another winning accumulator. Thursday’s treble was another winner for the 2017 season – and that now makes four successful accumulators in the last five weeks.

The Tennessee Titans get my NFL four-fold off and running and the New Orleans Saints, arguably the riskiest pick this weekend, could emerge victorious to snag yet another American football victory. Check out my thoughts on the action below...

Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans

Jacoby Brissett will start at quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts but Chuck Pagano’s side will find it difficult against their AFC South rivals here. Defensively, the Colts are an absolute mess and they have allowed 280 points this season – the worst record in the NFL. Backing the Colts here would be a foolish move to say the least...

Marcus Mariota hasn’t been at his mobile best in recent weeks but the Titans should have enough quality to get through this contest. Tennessee are just one win behind AFC South leaders Jacksonville Jaguars and a victory here could see the Titans move alongside their divisional rivals. 3/5 is a decent price considering Indy’s current woes.

TIP: Tennessee to win @ 3/5

New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are firing on all cylinders. After a fairly slow start to the season by their high standards, Bill Belichick’s side are beginning to showcase their Super Bowl credentials. I’m expecting a fairly one-sided encounter at Gillette Stadium this weekend and New England could rack up plenty of points.

Matt Moore will start at quarterback for Miami and he cannot do any worse than Jay Cutler managed last weekend. The Dolphins have lost each of their last eight road games against New England and another heavy defeat beckons here. Miami have lost four on the spin and it may be wise for Adam Gase to start looking ahead to the 2018 campaign.

TIP: Over 31.5 New England points @ 22/25

San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks

Backing the 49ers? Of course you’re not. San Francisco ended their nine-game losing streak last time out but that win came against a very poor New York Giants side. Kyle Shanahan is still learning the ropes as a head coach in the NFL and the 49ers will get better in time. For now though, they are one of the worst franchises in the sport.

The Seattle Seahawks are far from perfect themselves though and Pete Carroll’s side are prone to slipping up in NFC West divisional fixtures. Russell Wilson is playing some sublime football right now and he is the sole reason for Seattle’s 6-4 record. The ‘Legion of Boom’ is stricken by injury but the Seahawks should be good enough.

TIP: Seattle to win @ 7/20

Los Angeles Rams vs New Orleans Saints

Jeff Fisher was a TERRIBLE coach. Since Sean McVay’s arrival, the Rams have gone from the worst ranked offense in the NFL to the best ranked offense. Todd Gurley is running hard and Jared Goff is making smart decisions – two key reasons for their rise. On the defensive side of the ball, the Rams are solid and they look destined for the playoffs.

But the New Orleans Saints might just about edge this one. In years gone by, Sean Payton’s defence has struggled time and time again but 2017 has been their season to shine. With an improved running game, largely helped by rookie Alvin Kamara, and Drew Brees performing well, the Saints could be set for postseason glory.

TIP: New Orleans to win @ 6/5
