MOTORSPORT

  • These rules apply to motor racing such as: (i) A1 GP; (ii) CART; (iii) Circuit Racing; (iv) Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters; (v) Endurance Motor Racing; (vi) Formula 1; (vii) Indy Car; (vii) Motorcycling; (viii) NASCAR; (ix) Rally; (x) Rally-cross; (xi) Superbike; and (xii) Touring cars.
  • These rules do not apply to Speedway. You can find the relevant rules for Speedway here.
  • Unless otherwise stated by us, your bet will be settled according to the classification and live timing broadcast on TV at the time of podium presentations or at the end of the relevant session, race, or event. If the information relevant to your bet is missing or incomplete or not broadcast on TV at the time of the podium presentation, the official information which is first published on the official website of the applicable governing association, body or organisation will be used for settlement, regardless of any subsequent promotions, demotions, appeals and/or penalties that are imposed after the end of the session, race, or event to which the bet relates.
  • If during any race qualifying session a time penalty is imposed by the relevant governing association, body or organisation, this will apply to your bet. Any other grid demotions or promotions will not apply with respect to your bet.
  • In the event you bet on the performance of a team and any change in the relevant drivers or riders participating for the team occurs, your bet will still stand.
  • If a driver or rider with respect to a relevant race or event suffers from a delayed start or starts from the pit lane, such relevant driver or rider is still deemed as having participated in the relevant event or race.
  • If an event or race which you have bet on is reduced in scope (e.g. due to weather conditions or other events or situations), but the relevant event or race (as applicable) which you have bet on is still deemed as an official event or race (as applicable) by the relevant governing body, association or organisation, such race or event (as applicable) will be deemed to have taken place. This will be the case, even if there are any changes (for example a reduction in the number of laps or a change to the route) made by the relevant governing body, association or organisation due to the race or event (as applicable) not being completed as originally planned.
  • Settlement of any Outright (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules) offer in a particular market will be based on the classification issued immediately following completion of the last race of the season and will include any decisions (for example regarding penalties awarded, demotions, and promotions) made by the governing association, body or organisation during the season and prior to the last race. Any decision (even an appeal of a prior decision) made by the governing association, body or organisation made after the end of the last stipulated race will not affect bet settlement.
  • If you place a bet with respect to any motorsport event, race, session, lap or heat that is restarted, your bet will be settled in accordance with the result provided following the restart of such event, race, session, lap or heat (as applicable). The foregoing will not apply to your bet, if the bet outcome was determinable with certainty prior to the restart and your bet will be settled in accordance with the relevant outcome which was already determined.
  • If a driver or rider which you have bet on has participated in either an official practice session or qualification session that is sanctioned by the relevant governing association, body, or organisation for an event or race, such rider or driver (as applicable) will be considered to have taken part in the relevant event or race (as applicable). This will be the case even if the driver or rider (as applicable) does not actually take part in the relevant race or event.
  • For bet settlement purposes the race will be deemed to have begun from when the first lap begins or if there is a warm up lap prior to the first lap, at the beginning of the warm up lap.
  • We will void your bet, in the event you bet on a team's performance in a race and the initial specified number of cars or bikes from such team do not start the relevant race.
  • Settlement of bets which relate to the "Safety Car" coming on to the track after the race has begun will not take into account those instances in which the actual race starts behind the "Safety Car".
  • Only outcomes following the official start of a race will be included in bets on the First/Next Driver to retire in a race. Any retirements or withdrawals occurring prior to the actual start of the race (including during any warm-up lap) will not be considered for purposes of settlement.
  • If there is any change made to the schedule of such motor sport race, qualifying session or event, its location, or any changes relevant to the circuit, your bet will stand and we will settle your bet on such race, qualifying session or event as long as the relevant race or event is held in the same season. If, however, you place your bet after 00:00 CET of the Monday of the week in which the relevant race, session or event was scheduled to take place, and such race, event or session is not held within a week of the relevant date that such race, session or event was scheduled at the time you placed your bet, we will void your bet. In addition, we will void your bet on any motor sport race, qualifying session or event, if it is not held in the same season.
Type of Bet Rules
First Car to Retire Your bet will be settled on the lap in which the car has been considered to have withdrawn from the race. If two or more cars retire during the same lap, we will settle your bet in accordance with the Dead Heat Rule (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules).
First Driver to Retire Your bet will be settled on the lap in which the driver has been considered to have withdrawn from the race. If two or more drivers retire during the same lap, we will settle your bet in accordance with the Dead Heat Rule (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules).
Head to Head
  1. If you place a Head to Head bet, all the participants who are the subject of the bet offer must start the race session which you have bet on, whether or not they receive an official time, for your bet to stand.
  2. In the event that the participant(s) that you have bet on do not finish the race, the determining factor that we will use to settle your bet is which participant(s) completed the most laps.
  3. Point 2 above will not apply if the participant(s) which are the subject of the bet offer do not finish the race and complete the same amount of laps and in such event we will void your bet.
  4. Points 2 and 3 above will not apply to Rallying where at least one of the participant(s) which are the subject of the bet offer, completes the event.
  5. The Dead Heat Rule (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules) applies in the event of a tie.
Outright If you bet on a participant who does not take part (regardless of the reason) in the applicable session, event, or championship, your bet will stand and your stake will not be refunded by us.
Place If you place a bet on a participant who does not take part (regardless of the reason) in the applicable session, event, or championship, your bet will stand and your stake will not be refunded by us.
Race to Complete Your bet will be settled based on the official regulations of the relevant governing association, body or organisation.
