Entries for the €1,000,000 Goffs Million - Europe’s richest two-year-old race, closed at 12 noon on Wednesday 6 May 2026, with connections at the time, hopeful of bagging one of the most valuable races of the season.
Run at the Curragh on Saturday 26 September, the seven-furlong contest offers prize money down to tenth place and is exclusively open to horses catalogued in the 2025 Orby Book 1 and Book 2 Sales.
Recent winners of the race include Dorset for Aidan O’Brien in 2025, following victories for Apples And Bananas (Joseph O’Brien), One Look (Paddy Twomey) and Galeron (Charlie Hills), reflecting the appeal of the race from both sides of the Irish Sea.
Last year’s running highlighted the race’s wide reach, with nine different ownership groups winning prize money for finishing in the first ten. August George, trained by Ivan Furtado, led the British challenge with a standout performance to finish second and earn €195,000.

- Late Fee Option: Buyers who missed checking the entry box at the sale have until the first official entry stage to pay a late qualification fee of €10,000.

- Field Safety Limit: The maximum field size allowed to run at the Curragh is capped at 30 runners.
