Erling Haaland is a phenomenon. Since breaking through as a teenager, the Norwegian has broken goal-scoring records with astounding regularity.

His consistency for a player of his age is almost unmatched. He is a physical anomaly, strong enough to battle with the burliest central defenders and quicker than anyone on the pitch. Pair that with an elite instinct for positioning, and you have an unstoppable goal-scoring force.

His arrival on the Premier League betting scene went how many who watched him in Dortmund or Salzburg expected.

Joining an already dominant team, Haaland rewrote the Premier League record books, tormenting the topflight’s defenders on the way.

Already in lofty company, there seems an inevitability that Haaland will be remembered alongside the all-time greats of sports betting.

Just a few weeks shy of his 23rd birthday, he is an iconic figure in his generation of footballers. Let’s look at what he’s achieved so far…

How Many Goals Has Erling Haaland Scored?

Erling Haaland has scored 228 goals in 275 senior appearances for Bryne, Molde, Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Norway.

His record is even more impressive if you look over the last few seasons. Since the start of 2020-21, he has made 123 club appearances, scoring 122 goals in the process for Dortmund and Man City.

All of his 21 international goals have been scored since the start of 2022. Over that period, he has notched 21 caps for Norway.

Haaland Goals For Manchester City

Erling Haaland has scored 52 goals for Manchester City in 52 appearances, which included breaking the record for goals in a Premier League season with 36. It won’t be long before he’s rivalling City’s all-time leading scorers.

In his debut season with City, he averaged a goal per start across all competitions. In matches he started, Haaland’s longest streak without a goal was three fixtures.

Statistically, he has had the greatest Premier League goal scoring season, and already looks set to be recognised as one of the greatest strikers in English football history

Haaland Norway Goals

Erling Haaland has scored 21 goals in 23 caps for the Norwegian senior side. He scored his first goal for Norway on 4th September 2020 against Austria.

He already has two international hat tricks to his name. The first came on the 11th October 2020 against Romania, which was followed up by 10th, 11th and 12th international goals in a qualifier against Gibraltar on 7th September 2021.

Erling Haaland First Goal

Still in his early twenties, Erling Haaland has played for more teams than most players his age.

He’s made a habit for scoring on his debut, which began when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer chucked him into the Molde team as a teenager. Haaland found the net 47 minutes into his first appearance.

He didn’t score on his Salzburg debut, but he netted on his first Austrian Bundesliga start and first Champions League appearance.

The big move to Dortmund didn’t faze Haaland. Hitting the ground running, he scored in his first appearance in each competition for the Black and Yellows, setting sky-high standards which he lived up to throughout his time at Signal Iduna Park.

How Many Hat Tricks Does Haaland Have?

Scorer of six hat tricks in his first season with Manchester City, Haaland netted two hat tricks in the span of a few August days as City beat Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.

The Norwegian and Phil Foden took a match ball home each in October when City thumped Manchester United 6-3.

He had to wait until January for his next treble, scoring all three in a win over Wolves. March then brought two more in quick succession as City smashed RB Leipzig and Burnley at the Etihad Stadium.

Haaland has scored two international hat tricks, along with a four-goal haul for Molde, plus five hat-tricks with Salzburg and four with Dortmund.
