Two of the fastest growing industries, football betting and podcasts are a likely partnership. Everyone seems to have a podcast, whether discussing the latest political news, the state of soccer in the United States or analysing the betting markets ahead of a weekend of football.

Like all podcasts, sports betting pods vary in topic and regularity. Some are daily, giving quick tips, others are more sporadic, looking ahead to bigger events like a Super Sunday or major tournament.

After checking out our list of the best football podcasts, these are a few betting-focused pods that should be added to your subscription list. Whether it’s debate, entertaining chat or market analysis you’re after, these podcasts have got you covered.

Bet On It

Led by handicap betting expert Marco D’Angelo, co-founder of WagerTalk, Bet On It was a new podcast released for the 2019/20 American Football season.

D’Angelo, a well-known name in the US sports betting industry and a handicapping expert, is joined by Gianni Karalis and Kelly Stewart for weekly podcasts looking at the best bets in college football and the NFL.

His previous podcast, Betting First Look, was extremely popular. D’Angelo’s career highlight came during the 2010 baseball season when he won a record-breaking 25 consecutive handicap bets.

For any NFL fans looking to find value, Bet On It is one of the best listens. You might not always agree with D’Angelo’s justifications for his picks, but it’s always worth hearing the views of a bettor with his experience and expertise.

William Hill Racing

The William Hill Racing podcast is a quick 10-minute or so listen released every day looking ahead to the day’s meetings.

Racing pundit Andy Gibson recently featured on the podcast, joining Alex Dunn to discuss the horses he is keeping an eye out for over the coming months. This is just one example of the podcast mixing up long-term betting options with their daily picks.

Whether you’re a regular racing bettor or occasionally place a wager, the William Hill racing podcast is a good listen before you commit to any bets. The length of the podcast makes it ideal for a short morning commute.

Oddschecker Podcast

Not as regular as others on this list, the Oddschecker Podcast looks at various different sports. From Goodwood to the NFL, Oddschecker often welcome guests onto the pod and had a weekly preview with Jeff Reinebold during the 2018 NFL season.

Michael Cox has appeared in the past for football podcasts and, as you’d expect from Oddschecker, the focus is often on finding the best price as markets move.

Not a podcast to put into your weekly schedule like William Hill Racing or Bet On It, the Oddschecker podcasts are still well worth keeping an eye out for when they pop up.

Racing Post Podcast

As comprehensive as any betting podcast around, Racing Post publish episodes almost daily. Horse racing is obviously the main focus, but there are hour-long Premier League preview episodes every week too. Darts and golf have their own dedicated episodes.

With an array of high-profile guests, the content is always informative and easy to listen to.

Splitting sports up over different episodes works well for bettors who specialise – it avoids trawling through the latest darts discussion when you just want to hear some tips on the latest Premier League markets.

A must-subscribe for any football, golf, darts or racing fan.

Betfair Betting Podcast

Cricket on Tuesdays. NFL on Wednesdays. Football on Thursdays. Racing on Fridays. Four podcasts a week with each episode hovering around the 45-minute mark.

Betfair have you covered throughout the working week and provide an impressive guestlist for their podcasts with Dimitar Berbatov recently featuring for a preview of England versus Bulgaria.

Wisden editor Lawrence Booth also appeared earlier this month to look ahead to England’s tour of New Zealand.

Few British betting companies have a comprehensive podcast catalogue like Betfair. For those bettors who follow all four of the aforementioned sports, it can quickly become part of your weekly routine.

Even if you won’t be able to keep pace with their production, it’s a good idea to hit the subscribe button so you don’t miss out when you’ve got the free time.

Sports Gambling Podcast - The EPL Show

The Sports Gambling Podcast has a range of shows including ‘Inside Vegas’ and ‘NBA Odds Pod’.

Their EPL Show is released weekly and previews the upcoming Premier League fixtures. Presented by MyBookie, the podcasts are around half an hour in length and they recently passed the 125-episode marker.

Billi Bhatti hosts the podcast, which also branches out into European matches and international fixtures. Subscribers aren’t left with long gaps between podcasts being released during the hectic European football season – it’s a reliable source of betting advice.
