Three of the top four are in Premier League action this Wednesday after FA Cup fixtures dominated the weekend schedule. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are only four points apart in fourth and third respectively.

Liverpool’s lead could be just one point by the time they kick-off against Leicester City. Jurgen Klopp’s side are still title favourites. They are 7/10 on 888sport's Premier League winner odds.

Four matches take place on Wednesday evening. Here are a few thoughts and tips…

AFC Bournemouth vs CHELSEA

Bournemouth got an important win at home to West Ham in their last match. Three points separates the Cherries from the top of the mid-table pack, they are down in 12th at the moment.

Bournemouth, having been knocked out the FA Cup, have little to play for in the remainder of the campaign.

Chelsea bounced back from a dreadful display against Arsenal in their last league match to beat Spurs on penalties in the League Cup and thrash Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.

Eden Hazard was rested at the weekend and will take the pitch alongside new signing Gonzalo Higuain for the first time at Dean Court on Wednesday.

Chelsea could be level on points with Arsenal and Manchester United by the time they kick off on the south coast. Bournemouth have not been great of late, conceding nine goals in their last two matches against top six sides. The visitors are the team to back.

TIP: Chelsea to win @ 13/20

PREDICTED SCORE: Bournemouth 1-2 Chelsea at 7/1

SOUTHAMPTON vs Crystal Palace

Southampton’s resurgence under Ralph Hasenhuttl has seen them pull level on points with Crystal Palace.

The pair are still only three points from the relegation zone. Southampton have won two of their last three, beating Leicester and Everton. Saints were a mess under Mark Hughes and should easily be safe.

Palace have had an eventful last two matches, losing a seven-goal thriller at Anfield and knocking Spurs out of the League Cup.

Roy Hodgson named a strong team to face Spurs, which could the Eagles struggle with fatigue in this one, while Southampton are rested.

The hosts are 27/20 to win, but the 4/11 to avoid defeat is the better bet.

TIP: Southampton to win OR draw @ 4/11

PREDICTED SCORE: Southampton 2-2 Crystal Palace at 23/2

LIVERPOOL vs LEICESTER CITY

Liverpool were knocked out of the FA Cup in the Third Round, so Jurgen Klopp’s side had a nice break at the weekend.

The Reds survived a scare against Crystal Palace in their last league outing and could be under serious pressure from Manchester City if the reigning champions win at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Leicester have won one of four in the league, having lost 4-3 to Wolves last time out.

Claude Puel is not a popular man at the King Power right now, despite victories against Manchester City and Chelsea in late December.

Klopp’s side have not been at their best of late and are suffering an injury crisis. They are still likely to win at home, but Leicester could cause them problems.

TIP: Both teams to score @ 21/20

PREDICTED SCORE: Liverpool 3-1 Leicester (Priced at 9/1 with 888sport)

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Watford

It’s been a disastrous week for Mauricio Pochettino. Harry Kane and Dele Alli are unavailable until March, and Spurs were knocked out of both domestic cup competitions within four days.

Spurs fans will be delighted by Son Heung-Min’s early return after South Korea were knocked out of the Asian Cup.

Watford are unbeaten in six, though they have won just once in their last five league matches.

Javi Gracia rotated heavily for the FA Cup at the weekend, but still won the match. The Hornets beat Spurs earlier this season and will be very optimistic as they head to Wembley.

This is the best time to face Tottenham. The return of Son, who will likely start, could make all the difference, though.

TIP: Tottenham to win @ 8/13

PREDICTED SCORE: Tottenham 2-1 Watford at 13/2
