Unsurprisingly champion Irish trainer Willie Mullins will be sending his usual armada of horses to Prestbury Park this March to contest the Cheltenham Festival races, many of them with leading chances.

Here is our comprehensive A-Z stable tour of Willie Mullins’ scheduled participants, many of which will feature prominently in horse racing betting odds for the meeting.

  • ABSURDE – A previous winner of the County Hurdle and will contest that race again, albeit off a large weight.
  • ANZADAM – A possibility for the Champion, but realistically he’s like to go for the County Hurdle.
  • BALLYBURN – Somewhat of a quandary for Mullins, but the Stayers’ will be his goal.
  • BAMBINO FEVER – She’ll probably go off at fairly short odds for the Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle.
  • BERTUTEA – Fred Winter hurdle bound.
  • DINOBLUE - Extremely popular in the betting for the Mares' Chase renewal and it's hers to lose now after her recent victories.
  • DOCTOR STEINBERG – Stable jockey Paul Townend thinks he can settle him in the Albert Bartlett, so that race will be the target.
  • ENERGUMENE – This loyal servant will only run in the Ryanair if the ground is soft/heavy on the day.
  • ESPRESSO MILAN – A strong stayer with the Albert Bartlett is the perfect contest for him.
  • FACT TO FILE - Holds a favourite’s chance of winning the Ryanair, but there really is a strong case to be made for supplementing him for the Gold Cup. Whichever race he does eventually go for, he’ll win!
  • FINAL DEMAND - Brown Advisory Novices' Chase contender.
  • FUTURE PROSPECT - Runs in the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle.
  • GAELIC WARRIOR – Will be kept apart from Fact To File, so punt on him late in the day.
  • GALOPIN DES CHAMPS – Attempting to regain his  former Gold Cup crown.
  • I AM MAXIMUS – Comes into the Gold Cup reckoning for sure.
  • IL ETAIT TEMPS – Takes his chance in the Champion Chase.
  • JADE DE GRUGY – Entered in the Mares’ Chase, and the Mares’ Hurdle.
  • JUMP ALLEN – Will take his chance in the BetMGM (Coral) Cup or the Martin Pipe.
  • KAID D’AUTHIE – One for the Brown Advisory perhaps?
  • KARGESE - Mares’ Hurdle, Mares’ Chase and Arkle are all possibilities.
  • KAPPA JY PYKE – Arkle or Brown Advisory for this star performer.
  • KING RASKO GREY – Supreme or the Turners at the moment.
  • KITZBUHEL – Has one entry in the Brown Advisory.
  • KOPECK DE MEE – May go for the Martin Pipe again?
  • KOPEK DES BORDES - Quietly fancied for the Arkle.
  • LEADER D’ALLIER – Prime contender for the Supreme.
  • LOSSIEMOUTH - A three-time winner at the festival already. Number four in 2026?
  • LOVE SIGN D’AUNOU – Heads to the Champion Bumper.
  • MACHO MAN –  Firmly in the Triumph Hurdle mix.
  • MADNESS D’ELLE  Holds a good chance in the Fred Winter.
  • MAJBOROUGH – Has all the speed required to land a Champion Chase.
  • MIGHTY PARK – Likely to end up in the Supreme Novices’.
  • MINELLA ACADEMY – This big horse definitely runs in the Triumph.
  • MINO DES MOTTES – Can go well if he scrapes into the Fred Winter.
  • MON CREUSET – Outsider for the Triumph Hurdle.
  • MURCIA – She has a nice mark in the County Hurdle.
  • NICK ROCKETT – A possibility for the Gold Cup.
  • OUR TRIGGER – 4-y-o Champion Bumper contender.
  • PONIROS – Champion Hurdle outsider.
  • PROACTIF – Really fancied for the Triumph Hurdle.
  • QUIRYN - 4-y-o Champion Bumper contender.
  • ROC DINO – Will run in one of the handicap hurdles.
  • SELMA DE VARY – Nice mare with Triumph Hurdle aspirations.
  • SPINDLEBERRY – She will join Dinoblue in the Mares’ Chase.
  • SOBER – Schooling well before his Supreme push.
  • SORTUDO – He’s being edged towards the Turners by all accounts.
  • STORM HEART – Will be firmly in the throng for the BetMGM (Coral) Cup.
  • THE IRISH AVATAR – Potentially Patrick Mullins’ mount in the bumper.
  • THE WAGER – Grafter of a horse who can play his part in the bumper.

Note to readers: The above list will be packed to the rafters with Cheltenham winners, but the million dollar question for punters still remains – which ones are they?
