Like so many sports in the Winter Olympics, ski jumping requires immense bravery. Standing at the top of the jump would be enough to make most mere mortals go weak at the knees.
These athletes don’t only propel themselves down the slope; they do so with inch-perfect technique. Plenty of sports fans will be wondering where the betting markets are leaning when it comes to ski jumping at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Women’s Ski Jumping Prediction
Nika Prevc is the overwhelming favourite in both individual events. Prevc is on course to make it three World Cup wins in a row and set the world record in March of last year. The 20-year-old Slovenian was beaten by Eirin Maria Kvandal in rounds 23 and 24 after winning in Sapporo.
Nozomi Maruyama is comfortable in second place in the World Cup and was runner up to Kvandal in the last round. Abigail Strate has the second-shortest odds at the time of writing and is one of four jumpers other than Prevc to win an event since 5th December.
The only question about Prevc is how she copes with the pressure of the Olympics. If she performs at her best, she will take both golds.
Normal Hill Odds
- Nika Prevc – 1/2
- Abigail Strate – 8/1
- Nozomi Maruyama – 8/1
- Eirin Maria Kvandal - 12/1
- Lisa Eder – 12/1
- Selina Freitag – 12/1
Large Hill Odds

Men’s Ski Jumping Prediction
Leading the World Cup by an enormous margin and with more than double the prize money of any of his rivals, it’s hardly surprising Domen Prevc is the clear favourite in the normal and long hill events.
Prevc has won each of the last four events in the World Cup. The winner of the World Cup in 2024-25, the Slovenian has been an unstoppable force in ski jumping over the last 18 months or so. He’s far and away the dominant performer in the sport at the moment.
Ryoyu Kobayashi, who won the normal hill jump four years ago, is Prevc’s nearest rival in the World Cup and sits at 7/1 in both Olympic events. Marius Lindvik, champion in the long hill in 2022, is out at 25/1 this time around.
Normal Hill Odds
- Domen Prevc – 5/4
- Jan Hoerl – 6/1
- Ryoyu Kobayashi - 7/1
- Stefan Kraft – 9/1
- Stephan Embacher – 12/1
- Daniel Tschofenig – 12/1
Large Hill Odds
- Domen Prevc – 4/6
- Ryoyu Kobayashi - 7/1
- Jan Hoerl – 8/1
- Ren Nikaido – 12/1
- Daniel Tschofenig – 12/1
- Stephan Embacher – 14/1
