Leeds have been exciting to watch during the early stages of the Premier League season and we could see Manchester United youngster Dan James make the switch to Elland Road if the latest Leeds United transfer news rumours are accurate.

According to reports in The Sun, Leeds are preparing a £12 million bid to sign the Welshman before the end of the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils paid £18 million to sign James from Swansea City last summer but United are reportedly tempted to take a loss on the player if Leeds can meet their £12 million asking price.

James was hauled off at half-time in Man United’s 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday night, with Red Devils supporters criticising the Welshman for another poor display at the club.

Any potential move for James is likely to rely on United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho. If the Red Devils can convince Borussia Dortmund to sell, James is likely to head for the Old Trafford exit door.

Leeds tried to sign the Wales international on loan in 2018 but a deal couldn’t be agreed. If everything falls into place in the coming weeks, a move looks like it could be on the cards.

Leeds Rival AC Milan For Manu Kone

Toulouse midfielder Manu Kone has a lofty reputation as one of Europe’s top prospects and Leeds look set to battle AC Milan for his signature this summer.

RMC Sport are claiming that Leeds are in talks with Toulouse over the 19-year-old, though Marcelo Bielsa is yet to give the green light for the club to make an official bid.

However, time is of the essence with Milan also chasing the youngster. The Serie A giants are reportedly very keen on Kone and the player is likely to favour a switch to Milan over Yorkshire.

Leeds fans will be hoping that the club make one or two more signings before the end of the transfer window. The Whites have impressed since returning to the Premier League but the arrival of Kone will certainly help.

Leeds ‘Win Race’ For De Paul

It looks like the Rodrigo De Paul saga is over – reports claim that Leeds will sign the Udinese midfielder in the coming weeks.

Bielsa’s men broke their transfer record earlier this summer, signing Spain star Rodrigo from Valencia for an estimated £27.5 million. However, De Paul is likely to top £30 million if Leeds match Udinese’s asking price.

With the likes of Juventus and Lyon showing interest in the midfielder, the Italian side have been holding off in an attempt to increase De Paul’s fee but it appears that Leeds will get their man.

The Whites have been patient in their pursuit of the Udinese star and Leeds supporters will be hoping that the club’s approach pays off in the coming weeks.
