His on-screen chemistry with Jamie Carragher brings the best of Premier League football punditry. Here’s everything you need to know about Gary Neville.

Gary Neville Net Worth:

Gary Neville has a net worth of around £20 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com. Of course, the majority of his earnings came from his playing career with Manchester United.

Although not the most glamourous footballer, Neville was a stalwart at arguably the most successful club in England. He signed multiple high-value contracts with the Red Devils.

The weekly payment might not have been quite at the levels of David De Gea and Paul Pogba, but Neville was handsomely rewarded for his services by his boyhood club.

Neville has been active since hanging up his boots, coaching with England, briefly managing Valencia and now featuring on Sky Sports.

Gary Neville Hotel:

Gary Neville and his former teammate Ryan Giggs own two hotels in Manchester.

The Stock Exchange Hotel in the city centre and Hotel Football at Old Trafford belong to Neville and Giggs – the former Manchester United stars opened the hotels to NHS staff in March 2020.

Neville, speaking to the BBC after the decision to open the hotel for health workers, said, "It is at this moment in time that the whole of our industry needs to show solidarity, not just for our staff in these uncertain times, but for the people who need the accommodation most in the coming months.

When Neville and Giggs first bought the Stock Exchange in 2015, they allowed a group of squatters and housing activists to live in the hotel through the winter months.

Neville installed security and safety measures to keep them safe and provided meals for the new residents.

A volunteer on the project, Nathan Newman said, “That first night when all the homeless people in Manchester heard that Gary Neville was opening up his hotel to them every single person’s face changed from miserable and downcast to pure elation.

"They knew that someone cared enough about them to do a thing like this and that meant a lot to them. There was a real surge of energy and optimism.”

Where other ex-footballers have leapt into landlord life, Neville has used his wealth and new-found hotelier portfolio to help people far worse off than himself.

Gary Neville Wife:

Gary Neville is married to Emma Hadfield. The couple got married in June 2007, and they had their first daughter, Molly, in January 2009. Sophie, their second daughter, was born in March 2010.

Born in Bury, Neville grew up a keen cricketer. He played just as much cricket as football as a youngster.

Neville represented Lancashire at youth level, and even shared a 236 unbeaten stand with Australian international Matthew Hayden.

Gary Neville House:

Gary Neville had a vision for a carbon-neutral eco-friendly home in the northwest. Bolton Council allowed the once England international to go ahead with the project, which began back in 2010.
The home was due to cost around £8 million and has frequently been likened to the Teletubbies. The plot of land has been empty since 2012, however, and has been put up for sale according to the Manchester Evening News.
Neville’s mansion from his playing days in Meadow Barn near Bolton has captured plenty of online attention, too. Kitted out with its own golf course, a tennis court, swimming pool and games room, it’s hard to believe Neville ever decided to leave the place.

Gary Neville Podcast:

The Gary Neville Podcast is a weekly review of the weekend’s football. The podcasts vary in length – the most recent episode at the time of writing is just shy of 20 minutes, while plenty are closer to the 10-minute mark.

Neville is widely regarded as one of the best football pundits when it comes to the Premier League. His podcast is a popular recap and discussion of the main issues from the weekend’s action.

In a crowded market of Premier League podcasting, Neville’s viewpoint is one of the most popular. He has also guested on other podcasts, including Second Captains and The Big Interview With Graham Hunter.

Gary Neville Salford:

Gary Neville purchased 10% of Salford City back in 2014. Fellow Class of 92 stars Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and Paul Scholes also bought 10% each, with businessman Peter Lim buying the rest.

Five years later, another Class of 92 graduate in David Beckham bought 10% from Lim.

Since Neville has been involved with the club, they have invested heavily in the playing staff and facilities, including turning the club professional. Salford have ascended to the Football League and sit in the top half of League Two as of January 2021.

When the club were playing their first ever FA Cup tie in 2015, BBC aired a documentary called the Class of 92: Out of their League.

Neville featured extensively – the second series was shown on the BBC before transferring to Sky for series three.
