The member of racing staff responsible for the horse judged to be the best turned out in this race will receive a £500 award. In addition, the member of racing staff responsible for winning horse will receive a £250 award and the member of racing staff responsible for each runner in the race will receive a £50 award and a sponsored jacket.

All number cloths to be carried in this race have been sponsored and will carry the name/logo of BOODLES.  

The sponsorship payment of £500 will be distributed equally amongst all horses starting in this race in accordance with paragraphs 24 to 27 of the Stakes and Prize Money Code.

Cheltenham Gold Cup News

Last year’s winner Inothewayurthinkin, two-time winner Galopin Des Champs and the King George VI Chase winner, The Jukebox Man, were among the 33 entries received for the Cheltenham Gold Cup on January 6th.

Of the 33, only nine are trained in the UK, with one entry received from France.

Strong amongst the home UK team are Dan Skelton's Betfair Chase winner Grey Dawning, the Rebecca Curtis-trained Irish and Welsh National winner Haiti Couleurs and Nicky Henderson's Jango Baie.

As well as entering two-time winner Galopin Des Champs, Willie Mullins has also entered Champ Kiely, Gaelic Warrior, Grangeclare West, former Grand National winner I Am Maximus, Impaire Et Passe, Lecky Watson, last year's Grand National scorer Nick Rockett and the exciting mare Spindleberry.
