There are only four games left of the 2025 NFL Regular Season, commencing the race to the bottom for the best shot at winning the first overall pick in the next draft.

Having said that, some teams will see this closing stanza as a shot at a bit of redemption following a season plagued by injuries, trying to save a bit of face before difficult choices need to be made in the offseason.

The NFL worst regular season record odds offer some insight into which teams can hope to climb a bit higher in the standings and which ones are primed to win the tankathon.

Titans and Raiders in a Close Race to the Bottom

Sitting rock bottom of the AFC South and AFC West, the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders have only been able to amass a 2-11 record to date, sporting -156 and -136 net points, respectively.

To say that their seasons have been abysmal would be an understatement. To make matters worse, they haven’t exactly got favourable schedules ahead. The Titans rank as having the 16th easiest schedule from the Week 14 rankings onwards.

Games against the San Francisco 49ers (9-4), Kansas City Chiefs (6-7), and Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4) look particularly daunting, and hosting the New Orleans Saints (3-10) might prove to be too much for these Titans.

The Raiders are ranked as having the fourth-hardest final run of the season. Las Vegas gets to travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles (8-4) and Houston Texans (8-5) before hosting the New York Giants (2-11) and Kansas City Chiefs (6-7).

Needless to say, neither team is expected to improve their record by much. The Titans are seen as the worse of the two at 4/7 to remain at under 2.5 wins. The Raiders’ line moves a bit to 20/24 to stay under 3.5 wins thanks to the Giants clash.

Next week, the NFL odds have the Titans at 31/5 to beat the 1/10 49ers, while the Raiders are slightly less likely to win at 33/5 against the 1/10 Eagles.

Jets and Giants in with a Shot at the First Overall Pick

Only the New York Giants have as few wins as the Titans and Raiders at 2-10, but their MetLife Stadium bunkmates, the New York Jets, are also seen as being in the race to the bottom despite being at 3-10.

The Washington Commanders, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, and Arizona Cardinals join the Jets on 3-10. However, their regular season record lines favour them beating 3.5 or 4.5 wins.

For the Jets and Giants, the shorter odds sit on the under for getting 4.5 wins. Helping this for the Giants is that their strength of schedule is the second-easiest in the NFL.

Big Blue comes up against the Commanders (3-10), Minnesota Vikings (5-8), Raiders (2-10), and Dallas Cowboys (6-6). Even with their play so far, it’s fair that the odds see them getting at least one more win, and perhaps even two.

The Jets’ schedule is a bit rougher, but still only good for the 12th easiest from Week 14 onwards. The Jaguars (9-4), Saints (3-10), New England Patriots (11-2), and Buffalo Bills (9-4) present at least one good chance to get a win.

Naturally, the Jets are being given very little hope of beating most of those teams. The Super Bowl betting has the Bills at 9/1, Patriots at 10/1, and Jags at 20/1. So, the trio sits among the top ten to win it all.

Of all of the basement dwellers of the NFL regular season in 2025, the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders seem to have the easiest path to ending with the worst record, while others down there might just win again.
