His role has altered over the years. Initially a villainous figure, the former defensive tackle was rebranded in the 2010s, which didn’t go down particularly well with a lot of fans.

How much do you know about Reigns in his professional and personal life? We’re sure there’s plenty more for you to find out in the remainder of this article…

How Much Is Roman Reigns Worth?

Roman Reigns’ net worth is reportedly around $20 million. Some reports claim Reigns earns around half a million dollars per month, but that is obviously subject to various taxes.

His take-home pay will be considerably lower, and there are plenty of living costs to account for, too.

Understanding the net worth of any wrestler can be tricky. Their financial dealings are not all publicly available, so it can be difficult to know exactly how much money they have to their name.

One thing is for sure in Reigns’ case, though. He is not short of cash and should be set for life if he manages his money carefully. Yes, others might have earned more from wrestling, but his net worth could continue to grow for years to come.

Title Reign

Roman Reigns’ current title reign is 1,312 days. It is the fourth-longest in WWE history and the longest since 1988, making Reigns a true history maker in the sport.

He is also the current and longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion into his second reign. It is his fourth reign as WWE Champion.

While Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino and John Cena might have posted almost unbreakable records for their total reigns, Roman Reigns is in that level of company.

He’s very much in historic territory, and has cemented his place in the WWE record books regardless of how the rest of his career plays out.

Such glory means some have suggested Reigns is the GOAT. Cena was inclined to agree.

“Many have “held the title,” but none have elevated the position and have had as much success personally and for the entirety of the @WWE like @WWERomanReigns. A true one of a kind and, in my opinion, the greatest of all time.”

Roman Reigns WrestleMania 40

Teaming up with The Rock on the first night of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns will go up against a Tag Team of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

On the second night, Reigns will face-off against Rhodes one-on-one to defend his title.

Competing on back-to-back nights is a demanding schedule for Reigns, who has been working part-time over the last few months. Appearances have been infrequent since he starred at WrestleMania 39.

In the build-up to WrestleMania 40, Becky Lynch was critical of Reigns’ preparation.

“It’s going to be hard, but that’s why they’re the champs. For Roman, he’s probably doubling he’s work that he’s done over the last year because he hardly ever shows up to work.

“It’s going to be real tough on him. It’s going to be a lot hard on him. Cody is used to fighting. Seth Rollins is used to being a fighting champion. I think Roman Reigns is going to have the hard time here.”

The event in Philadelphia is an opportunity for Reigns to further build his WWE legacy.

The Roman Reigns Documentary

With the excitement to WrestleMania 40 building, Roman Reigns was the subject of a documentary produced by Paul Heyman.

This documentary gave insight into Reigns’ character development, his life away from the ring, and what the future might hold.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Heyman talked about his relationship with Reigns and how he has evolved throughout his life and career.

“As a man, as a husband, as a father, as the leader of the head of his family, and leading a much-heralded dynasty to heights that have never been achieved before by any family in this industry.

“The growth of Roman Reigns, the character hails greatly by comparison to the growth of Roman Reigns the man. I would even suggest the persona of Roman Reigns has to constantly remind himself to keep up with the growth of Joe Anoa'i.”

Heyman also highlighted how Reigns has constantly sought to improve in various aspects of his life.

“There's a lot of footage of Roman in this bio from before he took on the mantle of the tribal chief and when you look at the pre-tribal chief era Roman Reigns you clearly see the difference between that presentation and who he is now.

“And in presenting this bio I wanted to make sure that the audience understood that if you look back on Roman Reigns as documented in this biography in 2024.

“If you look back two years from now on this you will feel the same way, 'Oh, that's old Roman Reigns compared to the new Roman Reigns,' because he's constantly upgrading and elevating and furthering himself in every aspect of his being.”

Family Life

Roman Reigns is married to Galina Becker. The couple began dating back in 2005.

They have five children – their first daughter was born in 2007 before two pairs of twins born in November 2016 and March 2020.

Becker is a fitness model with almost 7,000 followers on Instagram.

Will Roman Reigns Retire?

After flirting with retirement previously, Roman Reigns has said retirement is imminent once he loses his title.

Speaking in Heyman’s documentary in 2024, Reigns said, “You guys better cherish these moments cause once I lose the WWE Undisputed championship, I’m calling it quits.”

Whether this is part of a publicity stunt remains to be seen. Even if it was said honestly, only time will tell if Reigns will go through with that commitment.

It is clear, however, that he is into the latter stages of his career, even if there is still potential for sizeable wrestling earnings over the next few years.
