The Miz, real name Michael Gregory Mizanin, was born on 8th October 1980 though he had a difficult start to life.

Having joined Ultimate Pro Wrestling in 2003, the Miz earned a WWE contract just twelve months later after finishing second in ‘WWE Tough Enough’ season four.
The Miz moved to Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2006, appearing in a Miz TV segment on their television show – helping him to become a huge hit with wrestling fans.
In addition, The Miz started hosting ‘SmackDown!’ in June 2006 and made his in-ring debut in September. The Miz went undefeated for the first three months of his wrestling career…
A live betting favourite at major events, The Miz won his first WWE Championship in November 2007.
Two years later, he clinched the United States Championship and followed up with a unified WWE Tag Team Championship alongside the Big Show in January 2010.

Family Life
Is The Miz married? Yes, The Miz is married – and he’s married to a fellow wrestler. He married Maryse Ouellet in February 2014 and the couple have blossomed into wrestling’s power couple.
Maryse has worked as a realtor in the past and she has owned her own business, starting the House of Maryse clothing and jewellery line.
In 2018, Maryse and The Miz even starred in their own Bravo reality television series called Miz & Mrs.
The couple gave birth to daughter Monroe in March 2018 and little sister Madison followed in September 2019.
As one of the highest profile female wrestlers in WWE history, Maryse is able to command a central role in many of the leading storylines.
Undoubtedly, the Mizanin family are a dominant force in the WWE landscape right now and it’ll be interesting to see if Monroe or Madison step into the ring…
