Act Of Innocence
ACT OF INNOCENCE proved too strong for Sinnatra at Newbury in November and is taken to confirm his superiority over Dan Skelton's charge here. Though turned over at a very skinny price back at that Berkshire venue during the Christmas period, Act of Innocence was only beaten ¾-length by the winner, who was receiving 20 lb and subsequently finished third in a Cheltenham Grade 2, and this step up in trip will be right up his street. Lady Tadita is third choice.

Promising in bumpers for Paul Nicholls and made a winning stable/hurdle debut in notable Newbury maiden (16.3f, good to soft) in November. Beaten at long odds-on over the same C&D next time but was attempting to concede lumps of weight to one who has since finished second in a Grade 2. Bumper winner for Paul Nicholls last season and found just one too good on first 2 starts in this sphere, including when a clear second to the re-opposing Act of Innocence at Newbury. Completed a simple task in 2m Sandown maiden last month and open to improvement now upped in trip.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosSandown Park1m 7f 216yGood (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle1/4Newbury2m 69ySoft (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle2/15Newbury2m 69yGood to SoftHurdle2/11Windsor2mSoft (Good to Soft in places)Bumper4/10Chepstow2m 11yGood to SoftBumper1/13- 3Glance At MidnightJ: Shane QuinlanT: Andrew Martin051-125Age 616/116/114/1

Progressive form in bumpers and made a winning hurdles debut in emphatic style in 11-runner maiden here (15.8f, soft) in November. Stepped up further when second in class 2 novice at Cheltenham before finding Grade 1 company too much at Aintree. Not without hope eased in class here.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosAintree2m 209yGood to SoftHurdle5/6Cheltenham2m 179yGood to SoftHurdle2/10Huntingdon1m 7f 171yGood to SoftHurdle1/11Huntingdon1m 7f 171yGoodBumper1/7Doncaster2m 128yGood to Soft (Soft in places)Bumper5/16- 1Fresh PerspectiveJ: Gavin SheehanT: Jamie Snowden10-113Age 620/116/118/1

Debut bumper winner and has looked an even better prospect when landing 2m novice hurdles at Market Rasen and Huntingdon before a fine second in listed contest at Taunton. This step up in trip will suit and she can progress further.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosTaunton2m 104yGoodHurdle2/6Huntingdon1m 7f 171yGoodHurdle1/8Market Rasen2m 125yGoodHurdle1/10Huntingdon1m 7f 171yGoodBumper1/5- 5Tiddesley WoodJ: Jonathan BurkeT: Fergal O'Brien36-313Age 628/122/125/1

Built on hurdling debut promise when bagging 9-runner novice hurdle at Windsor (2½m, good to soft) in November. However, further progress was not forthcoming at Doncaster since and he lacks the scope of some of these rivals.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosDoncaster2m 3f 88yGood (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle3/7Windsor2m 4fGood to SoftHurdle1/9Aintree2m 4fGood to SoftHurdle3/7Newbury2m 69yGood (Good to Soft in places)Bumper6/11Doncaster2m 128yGood to Soft (Soft in places)Bumper3/16
