Sober Glory
It's very hard to oppose prolific scorer SOBER GLORY, who enhanced his form when finishing a fine second in last month's Supreme at Cheltenham, a better jump at the last likely to have made the winner work harder still. He can prove too strong for Baron Noir who finished 2 places behind the selection on that occasion. Sinnatra is another with his best days ahead of him.

Upwardly-mobile sort who was 3-3 in bumpers. Made a seamless transition to hurdling, an easy winner on 3 of first 4 starts and taking another big step forward when second in last month's Supreme. Shade better than the bare result on that occasion (mistake last) and he's very much the one to beat.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosCheltenham2m 87yGood to SoftHurdle2/11Newbury2m 69yHeavy (Soft in places)Hurdle1/8Newbury2m 69yGood to SoftHurdle1/11Sandown Park1m 7f 216ySoft (Heavy in places)Hurdle4/5Chepstow2m 16yGood to SoftHurdle1/13- 1Baron NoirJ: Tom BellamyT: Alan King3-12114Age 610/310/33/1

Dual bumper scorer who has taken very well to hurdling, landing back-to-back maiden/novice events prior to finishing fourth in last month's Supreme at Cheltenham, impressing with how he went through the race. Ground to make up on Sober Glory on that form but highly likely there's more to come.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosCheltenham2m 87yGood to SoftHurdle4/11Kempton Park2mGood (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle1/7Uttoxeter1m 7f 168ySoft (Heavy in places)Hurdle1/10Warwick2mGood to Soft (Soft in places)Hurdle2/13Punchestown2m 94yYieldingBumper1/12- 2SinnatraJ: Harry SkeltonT: Dan Skelton-221315Age 69/115/28/1

Impressive bumper winner who quickly reached a useful level over hurdles, twice justifying cramped odds in novice company before finishing fifth in last month's County Hurdle. Steady pace looked against him then and whilst this is tougher up in grade, he remains with potential. Useful in bumpers and looked good prospect when winning first 2 starts over hurdles, latterly in listed company. Excellent second in mares Grade 2 at Ascot followed but never threatened when well held in Dawn Run at Cheltenham 4 weeks ago. Minor role looks her best hope.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosCheltenham2m 179yGood (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle14/22Ascot1m 7f 157ySoftHurdle2/4Newbury2m 69ySoft (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle1/9Uttoxeter1m 7f 168yGood (Good to Soft in places)Hurdle1/11Aintree2m 209yGood to Soft (Good in places)Bumper2/20- 4Starting FifteenJ: Sean FlanaganT: Eric McNamara, Ireland2-34217Age 520/120/118/1

Irish raider who made the frame all 3 starts in bumpers and confirmed debut promise when bagging a Limerick maiden in December. Not disgraced tackling Grade 1 level for first time at Leopardstown in February but he'll need to pull out a lot more to figure prominently here.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosLeopardstown2mHeavyHurdle7/12Limerick2mHeavyHurdle1/17Limerick2m 70yGood to YieldingHurdle2/16Listowel2mGood to Yielding (Yielding in places)Bumper4/9Punchestown2m 149yGood to Yielding (Yielding in places)Bumper3/24- 5Storming GeorgeJ: Jack QuinlanT: Neil King-316271Age 628/128/133/1

Useful in bumpers and similar merit over hurdles, proving better than ever to make second handicap start a winning one at Newbury (19f) 3 weeks ago. Did that readily but he will need to step up considerably once more if he's to threaten the principals now tackling Grade 1 company.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosNewbury2m 2f 183yGood to Soft (Good in places)Hurdle1/9Kempton Park2mGood to Soft (Soft in places)Hurdle7/12Doncaster2m 3f 88ySoftHurdle2/5Aintree2m 209yGood to SoftHurdle6/6Doncaster2m 128ySoftHurdle1/8
