Faiyum
FAIYUM's wide-margin success in a Group 3 last autumn marks her down as one could develop into a really smart filly this year and she's very much the one to beat. Moments of Joy has the look of one who will make a better 3-y-o and is second choice ahead of Catalina Delcarpio, who is a good prospect for 2026 but reappears over a 4f shorter trip than when second in a Royal Ascot Group 2 on her final start last year.

Rapid improver last year, producing a really smart performance when taking her career record to 3-4 with an easy all-the-way win in Gowran Group 3 (9.5f, soft) in September. Won a Leopardstaown maiden on debut. Placed in listed/Group 3 on next 2 starts and showed up well for a long way when 6½ lengths fifth of 10 to stablemate Precise in Group 1 Fillies' Mile at Newmarket in the autumn. The type to make an even better 3-y-o.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosNewmarket (rowley)1mGood (Good to Firm in places)Flat5/10Curragh1mGood (Good to Yielding in places)Flat2/6Ascot7fGood to FirmFlat3/9Leopardstown7f 60yGood (Good to Yielding in places)Flat1/6- 5(2)Catalina DelcarpioJ: William James LeeT: P. Easy winner of 1¼m Leopardstown maiden (good to soft) last April and better form when placed in Navan listed over that trip (soft) and Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot (1½m, firm) subsequently. Reappears over a much shorter trip but she's a good prospect so should still be in the shake-up.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosAscot1m 3f 211yGood to FirmFlat3/11Navan1m 2f 20ySoftFlat2/8Leopardstown1m 2fGoodFlat1/7- 7(4)She's A NationJ: L. Easy winner of a 14-runner C&D maiden (good) on debut lasty summer. Ran well for third but 10 lengths behind the reopposing Faiyum in Gowran Group (9.5f, soft) only subsequent start. Should be more to come after only 2 outings.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosGowran Park1m 1f 100yHeavy (Soft in places)Flat3/14Curragh1mGood (Good to Yielding in places)Flat1/14- 2(9)Princess ChildJ: Declan McDonoghT: Joseph Patrick O'Brien, Ireland82114-7Age 516/116/118/1

Useful mare, notably winning 7.5f Tipperary Group 3 last August. However, well below par when seventh of 10 in Gladness on last weekend's reappearance at the Curragh and needs to have come on a lot in a short time.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosCurragh7fSoft to HeavyFlat7/10Longchamp7f 210yVery softFlat4/10Tipperary7f 110yYieldingFlat1/10Galway7fSoft (Soft to Heavy in places)Flat1/15Galway7fSoftFlat2/12- 4(7)California DreamerJ: David EganT: Robson De Aguiar, Ireland20700-1Age 416/116/118/1

Second in the Irish 2000 Guineas over C&D at the start of last summer. Didn't come close to reproducing that form later in 2025 but reappeared with a win in a 1m Dundalk conditions race last month.
