Aclass
ACLASS is more consistent than most at this level and might be worth siding with on his return from a 3-month break. The Gradual Slope had plenty go his way when stopping the rot and winning at Fairyhouse last week but is clearly still well handicapped if able to back that up. Thorough stayer Brucejack is also in the mix.

Placed in a trio of maiden hurdles and similar form over fences when third of 14 on handicap debut at Fairyhouse in January. Disappointing in amateurs race at Leopardstown last time but remains low mileage and has benefit of Kennedy taking the ride.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosLeopardstown2m 5f 120yYielding (Soft in places)Chase8/10Fairyhouse2m 5fSoftChase3/14Punchestown2m 7f 197yYielding to Soft (Soft in places)Chase6/10Naas2mSoft (Soft to Heavy in places)Chasepu/16Galway2m 6f 111yYielding (Yielding to Soft in places)Chase8/11- 9AclassJ: D. Largely held form well across a busy autumn/winter campaign, winning a maiden chase at Thurles and finishing in the frame on 6 further occasions. Has run well fresh before and might be worth chancing with O'Keeffe taking the ride.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosTramore2m 5f 120ySoftHurdle4/15Limerick2m 6f 120ySoft to HeavyChase4/12Thurles3m 1f 66yYieldingChase2/16Tramore2m 5f 100ySoftChase1/8Navan2m 5fHeavyHurdle13/19- 8BrucejackJ: D. Thorough stayer who is without a win in 18 outings over fences, though he ran better than for a while fitted with cheekpieces when fifth of 14 in handicap chase at Clonmel (23.6f, heavy) 17 days ago. Won at Kilbeggan in May for Declan Queally but failed to match that form in 2 outings for Gordon Elliott. New yard has a good record of reviving new recruits and he took a step back in the right direction when 30½ lengths sixth of 17 to The Gradual Slope at Fairyhouse (21f) last week.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosFairyhouse2m 5f 45yYielding to Soft (Soft in places)Chase6/17Fairyhouse2m 5f 150yYielding (Good to Yielding in places)Chasepu/9Cork2m 4fYielding to Soft (Soft in places)Chase3/6Galway2m 6fGoodHurdlepu/20Roscommon3m 1f 24yGood (Good to Yielding in places)Chase7/15- 11Reve InouiJ: Jordan CanavanT: J. Winner of a mares maiden hurdle at Killarney in June and has shown aptitude for chasing when in the frame in mares novices at Naas and Thurles. Showed fair form without really threatening to win over hurdles. Jumped poorly on chase debut and merely closed up late when fifth in a beginners' event at Leopardstown (21.6f) last month, but he could well do better now handicapping over further.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosLeopardstown2m 5f 120yYielding (Soft in places)Chase5/9Thurles2m 4f 198yHeavy (Soft to Heavy in places)Chase4/9Fairyhouse2m 7f 35yYielding to SoftHurdlepu/18Navan2m 4fSoft (Yielding in places)Hurdle6/7Navan2m 6f 100yHeavyHurdle4/10- 12Millie BJ: B. Had dropped a long way in the weights before returning to form to win a 17-runner handicap chase (16/1) at Fairyhouse (21.2f, soft) 8 days ago. Benefited from being help up in strongly-run race there but 5 lb rise is manageable on his peak form.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosFairyhouse2m 5f 45yYielding to Soft (Soft in places)Chase1/17Down Royal3m 2f 50yGood to YieldingChase4/4Leopardstown3m 4f 61yYieldingChase10/13Navan3mHeavyChasepu/17Limerick3mSoft to HeavyHurdlepu/16- 1Tonaghneave WellWithdrawnJ: Keith DonoghueT: Gavin Patrick Cromwell, Ireland-105669Age 6

Fairly useful form when winning over hurdles at Downpatrick in June but yet to get close to that level over fences and looked stretched by 3m trip when ninth here when last seen in November, so extra distance far from certain to suit.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosDown Royal3mGood to Yielding (Good in places )Chase9/13Sligo2m 1f 120yYieldingChase6/8Galway2m 2f 54yGood to Yielding (Good in places)Chase6/7Killarney2m 1fGood to YieldingChase5/7Galway2m 6f 108yGoodHurdle14/19
