Sailor Song
SAILOR SONG built on his debut promise when runner-up at Doncaster recently and, with the step back up in trip likely to trigger further improvement, he's taken to make it third time lucky. His stablemate King of Thebes has a most attractive pedigree and has to be feared for all that the fitting of headgear on debut is a little disconcerting. Al Azd has more than enough ability to win one of these if keeping his quirks in check.

Improved in first-time blinkers when second of 6 in 1¼m handicap at Lingfield on latest start, despite his quirks again being in evidence. Certainly has the ability to win a race of this nature.DateCourseDistGoingTypePosLingfield Park1m 2fStandardFlat2/6Lingfield Park1m 2fStandardFlat2/5Kempton Park1mStandard / SlowFlat2/12Salisbury6f 213yGoodFlat5/9Sandown Park7fSoft (Good to Soft in places)Flat9/10- 4(4)King Of ThebesJ: Connor PlanasT: Charlie ApplebyAge 310/310/33/1
