Improver in handicaps, winning first 2 in December and even better form when runner-up over 21f at Kempton (soft) and Plumpton (good to soft) since. Will continue to give a good account.

Fairly useful stayer on the Flat for Ollie Sangster. Struggled over 2m in first 4 hurdles but different proposition stepped up in distance when landing a gamble over 21f at Huntingdon (good to soft) last month. There's more to come from him over this sort of trip.

Got off the mark over hurdles at the 16th attempt when comfortably seeing off 7 rivals over 23f here last month but it was only her second outing for Lucy Wadham and it's unlikely she'll have to wait anywhere near as long for the next win.

Confirmed the promise of an eye-catching previous run when landing a gamble to open his account at Newcastle (2½m, good) in March. Won with plenty to spare on that occasion and looks capable of following up.

Didn't achieve much for previous connections in Ireland but has won 3 times for Nick Scholfield, including twice over 2m here. Unlucky not to finish closer when third at Stratford (19f, good to soft) last time and extra yardage here in his favour.

Third Ludlow win when seeing off 7 rivals over 21f in March and has backed that up with creditable in-frame efforts at Ascot and Sandown. Shaped well from too far back at the latter venue last weekend and capable of having a big say off an unchanged mark.

Made it 3-5 in handicaps when cosy winner of a small-field race over C&D (good to soft) in March. 8 lb higher in a deeper race but his stable's excellent form suggests he probably has more to offer. Another to consider.

Made a winning start for the James Owen stable in 2m Worcester maiden last August. Hasn't reproduced that in 3 subsequent starts (well-held third in Huntingdon novice last time) but a bounce back to form wouldn't come as a surprise.

Added to his good record in the Scottish County Hurdle when second to Star of Guiting in this season's renewal. Creditable fifth in competitive 2m handicaps at Sandown (Imperial Cup) and Aintree this spring. Unlikely to be far away but he hasn't won for over 2 years.

Made a successful start for Neil King in C&D maiden in October. Returned to form back from a breathing operation when 4 lengths third of 8 to Rialannah in 23f course handicap last month.

Won back to back over 2m at Plumpton and Sandown last autumn. Form dipped subsequently but back in form last twice, latterly beaten only a length when third over 21f at Wincanton. Respected with first-time blinkers replacing cheekpieces.

Won twice over hurdles for James Owen in the first half of last season but hasn't offered much in 4 outings since leaving that stable, finishing tailed off on the Flat at Lingfield last Monday. Visor goes back on and has a first-time tongue tie.
