Dermot Weld doesn't have the firepower to pose the threat he once did at this meeting but ABBOTSFORD could be worth taking a chance on here. Gelded since pushing a now 89-rated rival close at Cork in May, the son of Frankel has likely more to offer. He gets preference over the Willie Mullins-trained pair Daddy Long Legs and the long absent Glowing Account, with others to consider including Mergus Serrator, Run To Mahler and the in-form hurdler Nakassama.
