Lightly-raced 7-y-o who has really impressed since sent chasing, bagging handicaps at Newbury in December and Sandown in March, jumping well each time. Up another 6 lb but fancied to maintain his unbeaten record in this sphere.

Ended a long losing run facing less exacting opposition at Bangor 6 weeks ago, though the winning margin probably flattered him to some extent. Career best probably required if he's to defy 5 lb rise.

Won 3 of 4 starts over hurdles/fences (all at Cheltenham) for Nicky Henderson in 2024. Well below that level in 4 runs for current yard but this at least represents a drop in class and worth another go at this trip.

Recorded a hat-trick last season and successful at Newbury just after Christmas, travelling easily and scoring with something to spare. Found Kim Muir too demanding since but can make presence felt back at this level with headgear applied.

Ex-French winning hurdler/chaser who ran creditably when making the frame first 3 starts for present yard. However, struggled from out of the handicap last time and he's 6 lb out of the weights on this occasion.

Very smart at best for Willie Mullins but just the one decent effort in 2024/25 and offered little immediate promise starting out for this yard at Newbury 9 weeks ago after a year off.
