Gradually progressive over hurdles last season, winning twice at around 3m. Mixed bag over fences/hurdles this year but better effort under a typically aggressive ride in refitted blinkers when third at Wetherby (3m) 4 weeks ago. Not taken lightly from sliding mark.

Course scorer with two Bangor wins (2½m/3m) earlier this campaign and wasted no time dispelling a lesser effort when second over an extended 3m when last seen at Aintree in October. Resumes with his stable amongst the winners but he's yet to defy a mark this high.

All the better for belated comeback (off 22 months) when winning over 3¼m here in December. However, not scaled same heights since the turn of the year, going in snatches at Bangor latest in first-time blinkers (retained).

Capitalised on a much-reduced mark in messy 3m Kempton handicap on second start for present yard in November. Latest run after 4 months off at Ascot was well below par though, and he'll need to step up plenty on that to figure.

Bought by current yard for £145,000 on the back of 2 placed efforts in bumpers and made it second time lucky over hurdles in a Cheltenham maiden on New Year's Day. Dispelled a lesser run when third in novice at Kempton (21f) 31 days ago but longer trip needs to unlock improvement on handicap bow.
