Despite a disappointing few years across both major tournaments, Ghana managed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

They will fancy their chances of making the knockout phase, having been drawn with England, Panama, and Croatia, even though they are a longshot in the sports betting markets to win Group L.

What is the average salary for Ghana players?

The average salary of the Ghana World Cup squad is around £30,000 per week. Exact wage figures aren’t available for every member of the squad, but there is accurate reporting for a good portion of the group.

The higher earners play in Europe’s top five leagues, with multiple players representing clubs in European contention. Others, like Derrick Luckassen at Pafos and Joseph Anang at St Patrick’s Athletic, will be on considerably less than £30,000 per week.

Who are the top earning players for Ghana?

Iñaki Williams and Antoine Semenyo are the two highest-earning players in the Ghana squad. Both of the forwards are on around £150,000 per week at Athletic Club and Manchester City, respectively.

Thomas Partey, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Jonas Adjetey are expected to be the other highly paid players in the squad.

How much does the Ghana manager earn?

Carlos Queiroz’s salary hasn’t been publicly reported. The Ghanaian FA were keen to make it clear that he’s on considerably less than the $100,000 per month figure that was previously quoted by multiple sources.

Queiroz has become something of a journeyman on the international management circuit, having had spells in charge of Iran, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Colombia, and Portugal before taking the Ghana job.
