Improved when off the mark at Kempton (21f) at the start of February and advanced his form even further sporting a first-time tongue strap when recording a 19-length victory in a 13-runner event at Newbury (20.5f) later that month. Respected from 10 lb higher.

Improved when successful on handicap/stable debut at Perth (2½m, heavy) in October. Backed that up when third at Cheltenham but found 2m5f on good ground around Kempton too sharp next time. Unable to sustain his effort from off the pace over 3m at Windsor last time and now back down in trip.

Edged down the weights after joining the upwardly-mobile Adam Nicol yard before getting off the mark in fine style from the front in a 13-runner handicap hurdle (17f, good) at Newcastle 17 days ago. Up 9 lb but had plenty in hand there and should go well again.

Been a long time since his sole win but has proved more competitive from reduced marks of late, quickly returning to form after a bit of a blip when third at Wincanton (24.7f, good) 25 days ago. Equally capable over this trip and he should be in the mix again.

Promise when in the frame in a Worcester bumper and has improved with each run over hurdles, jumping fluently to capitalise on the departure of an odds-on favourite in a 9-runner maiden at Southwell last month (2m). No chances taken with opening mark but he's unexposed now stepping into handicaps.

Won this race last season and proved better than ever at beginning of this campaign, notching 3 consecutive second-placed efforts. Bit below form when fifth of 12 at Musselburgh (2½m, good to soft) 75 days ago and others perhaps hold stronger overall claims.

Kept busy this season, scoring at Leicester (15.5f, heavy) in December before doubling his tally at Wincanton (15f) last month. Perhaps unlucky not to follow up at Taunton next start and hadn't been asked for effort when hampered and unseating last time, though longer trip not certain to suit.

Back over hurdles, made a winning return at Fontwell (19f) in October and ran well next 2 starts. Disappointing at Kempton on Boxing Day though and might have found conditions too testing when third in a 4-runner race back at Fontwell (2¾m) last time, so bounce back is called for.

Veteran finished 2025 in good form, making it back-to-back thirds at Kelso in November. Added to a decent record fresh on the back of a 4-month break when fourth at Carlisle (19f) last month but more needed to score from out of the weights here.

Improved when a close second at Gowran in February on his final start for Adrian Murray and went one better starting out for this yard at Wexford (2m, heavy) last month. Jumped and travelled well there and he's respected going back up in trip despite 14 lb rise. Hood on 1st time.
