With three Premier League fixtures taking place on Sunday afternoon, fans will be treated to a superb day of top-flight action.

Starting with Arsenal’s trip to Fulham and culminating in a mouth-watering clash between Liverpool and league leaders Manchester City, it could be a decisive day in the destiny of the Premier League title.

Sandwiched in the middle of those two games is Chelsea’s clash with Southampton.

The Blues were far from convincing in the Europa League on Thursday night but Maurizio Sarri’s men were much changed and Chelsea’s main men will be back in action this weekend.

Without further ado, let’s get down to Sunday’s best bets. Hopefully it lives up to the hype; punters all over the country will be hoping for an entertaining day of Premier League action.

Fulham vs ARSENAL

Fulham have won just one of their seven league games in 2018/19 and it would take a brave man to back the hosts in this one.

The Cottagers are just three points clear of the relegation zone and fans will be hoping for a quick improvement in the coming weeks.

Slavia Jokanovic’s men have avoided defeat in their last three competitive fixtures on home soil though and some punters will be tempted by the 13/10 available for Fulham to win OR draw on Sunday afternoon.

Don’t say this too loudly as Arsenal fans might get carried away but the Gunners have are in the midst of an eight-match winning run.

Unai Emery will be happy with Arsenal’s form after a slow start to the campaign and you won’t find too many punters writing the Gunners off in this clash.

With that in mind, I’m taking the 17/10 for Arsenal to win with both teams scoring in this encounter. The selection has landed in five of their last seven matches and Emery’s side could run riot at Craven Cottage.

TIP: Arsenal to win and both teams to score @ 17/10

PREDICTED SCORE: Fulham 1-2 Arsenal (Priced at 7/1 with 888sport)

Southampton vs CHELSEA

Southampton have won just one Premier League game so far this season – and that came against a Wilfried Zaha-less Crystal Palace.

Mark Hughes’ men are winless at St Mary’s so far in 2018/19 and punters should steer clear of backing Saints with that in mind.

The hosts did secure a confidence-boosting win away at Everton in the Carabao Cup during the week and that could give Saints a lift ahead of this clash.

Southampton have lost their last six meetings with Chelsea but 7/5 for a home win or draw is a solid price for the double chance market.

Are Chelsea in danger of becoming over-reliant on Eden Hazard? Potentially. The Blues were short of ideas in Thursday night’s Europa League victory over Videoton, with Maurizio Sarri calling on the Belgian midway through the second half.

Hazard will almost certainly be back in Chelsea’s starting line-up on Sunday afternoon and he can be their difference maker once again.

The 3/5 for an away win represents solid value given the respective form of these two clubs – it could be a comfortable trip to St Mary’s for the visitors.

TIP: Chelsea to win @ 3/5

PREDICTED SCORE: Southampton 0-2 Chelsea (Priced at 13/2 with 888sport)

LIVERPOOL vs Manchester City

Last but certainly not least, Liverpool host Manchester City in Sunday’s third and final Premier League fixture. Jurgen Klopp will have his troops fired up for an instant response after that last-gasp defeat to Napoli earlier this week.

Over 1.5 home goals carries plenty of appeal at 26/25. Liverpool have scored 39 goals in their last 13 league games at Anfield – an impressive feat.

In addition, the selection has landed in their last three meetings with Man City; back the Reds to shine on home soil.

Pep Guardiola’s men are now sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table and the visitors will know just how important this fixture is. If City can avoid defeat, it could give the Blues a huge lift as they look to defend their top-flight crown.

Their record against Liverpool last season was poor but City fans will be quietly confident of restoring order this weekend.

8/15 for the visitors to avoid defeat is well worth considering if you fancy Pep’s men to stifle Liverpool’s potent offensive unit.

TIP: Over 1.5 Liverpool goals @ 26/25

PREDICTED SCORE: Liverpool 2-1 Man City (Priced at 8/1 with 888sport)
