Saturday afternoons wouldn’t be the same without the 3pm kick-offs. Whatever your general routine is on a Saturday, football fans will join together to sit down and follow the goals as they go in.

And with a stellar line-up of action this weekend, it could go down as a defining Saturday in the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

With teams from both ends of the table in action, there are plenty of options when forming your top-flight accumulator.

Without further ado, here are our best bets ahead of Saturday’s matches. Liverpool head our latest 10/1 Premier League four-fold…

Fulham vs AFC BOURNEMOUTH

Fulham are in trouble. Their only Premier League win of the season came against Burnley back in August and the Cottagers are in desperate need of a lift.

Slavisa Jokanovic is under intense pressure in the Fulham hotseat and another poor result could force the Fulham board to act. Three points is an absolute must for the hosts.

Unfortunately, they are up against an in-form Bournemouth. The Cherries are on a four-match unbeaten run and punters will fancy Eddie Howe’s side to continue their fine run of form.

27/20 is a great price for the visitors considering the gulf in class. It won’t be straightforward but Bournemouth can claim a huge three points down at Craven Cottage.

TIP: Bournemouth to win @ 27/20

PREDICTED SCORE: Fulham 1-2 Bournemouth (Priced at 8/1 with 888sport)

LIVERPOOL vs Cardiff City

Jurgen Klopp’s side have struggled in the final third in recent weeks; the Reds have scored three or more goals in just two of their nine Premier League games in 2018/19.

Liverpool should score plenty of goals this weekend though. Their record in this fixture is strong and only Fulham (25) have conceded more goals than Cardiff (19) this season.

The Bluebirds are languishing down in 17th position but that 4-2 win against Fulham in their previous encounter should give the south Wales outfit a boost ahead of their trip to Anfield.

Cardiff may see a few chances fall their way but Liverpool should dominate from start to finish. 16/25 for the Reds to score in both halves looks to have a solid chance.

TIP: Liverpool to score in both halves @ 12/25

PREDICTED SCORE: Liverpool 3-0 Cardiff (Priced at 6/1 with 888sport)

SOUTHAMPTON vs NEWCASTLE UNITED

Mark Hughes is a dead man walking. Southampton have struggled to build momentum since his appointment back in March and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Saints move on.

For the time being, Hughes’ attention turns to Newcastle and Southampton will be quietly confident. They are unbeaten in their last five home games against the Magpies.

Newcastle’s position is precarious but Rafa Benitez has the backing of Mike Ashley – verbally if not financially. The away side have picked up just two points from nine league games in 2018/19 and this almost falls into the ‘must win’ category.

With both teams struggling in the final third, opting for under 2.5 goals (16/25) may be the way to go. This probably won’t be first up on Match of the Day.

TIP: Under 2.5 goals @ 16/25

PREDICTED SCORE: Southampton 1-0 Newcastle (Priced at 27/5 with 888sport)

WATFORD vs Huddersfield Town

Watford got back to winning ways with an excellent result away at Wolves last time out and the Hornets will fancy their chances against winless Huddersfield this weekend.

That triumph was Watford’s first victory since the start of September and Javi Gracia’s men can build momentum ahead of the busy festive period. Another huge win is there for the taking.

With just four league goals in nine games, the Terriers have the worst attacking record in the top flight. David Wagner’s side need to turn things around – and they need to do it quickly.

Confidence will be restored at Vicarage Road after last week’s result and 10/11 for over 1.5 Watford goals is solid value. It is hard to back Huddersfield against anyone right now.

TIP: Over 1.5 home goals @ 10/11

PREDICTED SCORE: Watford 2-1 Huddersfield (Priced at 15/2 with 888sport)
